I would like to introduce you to LilyGlass – my first original counted canvas design! This was such a fun project, and I learned SO MUCH! I hope you like it as much as I do!

Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, LilyGlass is my interpretation of the beautiful stained glass windows of that era. Stitched on 18 count white mono-canvas, this design features a variety of innovative embroidery stitches including laid variations and uses a simple palette of colours in DMC Perle cottons and just a couple of specialty threads from Rainbow Gallery and Kreinik.

The pattern includes 19 pages of detailed instructions and is intended for intermediate to advanced stitchers.

The finished size is approximately 7 1/2″ wide by 10″ tall (stitch count) 142×181.

LilyGlass is available for purchase on the Freda’s Fancy Stitching website and on the Etsy shop as a digital download
